The final day - Tobermory to Dunstaffnage. After dinner aboard on arrival in the late evening the previous day, we started the day with a slap up breakfast in the Western Isles Hotel (the nearest hotel to the new pontoons prepared to serve us - welcome to Balamory!!).
Slick teamwork from the crew got us out of a tight berth at Tobermory in breezy conditions. Glorious sunshine and a slightly squally breeze as we motorsailed the first stretch of the Sound of Mull. As we turned the corner at Eilan Glasen, we were able to kill the engine and a great lift allowed us to lay Lismore Light after which we bore away for a romp across the Lynn of Lorne to Dunstaffnage. A perfect day's sailing to end the cruise and plenty of Eccles Cakes to round things off!

And the final reach across to Dunstaffnage.
