Click on the pictures for enlargements Now let's pass briskly over the diminishing memory of the day spent in the rain getting from Inverkip to Crinan - through the canal - and it didn't rain hard enough to keep the midges away - for some of the time anyway ... and remind ourselves what it can be like when the sun shines and there's probably not enough wind to sail - well not very fast anyway ... So that was Saturday afternoon and we did put the sails up! And then there was Sunday morning which was even less windy - the photo below is looking back towards Craobh Haven after we set off at about 7.30 am to be in plenty of time for the tide at the Dorus Mor.
And the following weekend, Hiltgund leaves Ardfern.
Finally arriving at Dunstaffnage where Hiltgund lies on a mooring right in front of the castle.
And within very easy reach of the excellent scoff which is on offer at the Wide Mouthed Frog pictured below.
